Maximus Sound, located in the heart of the Tri-city area, provides a combination warm, informal home atmosphere with some of the best computer-based and analogue recording equipment available on the market today.

At Maximus  Sound you’ll have access to the experience of engineer and producer Claude Laforest who has been involved in making music, as a musician, a soundman and an engineer, since he was 13.

In 2004, Maximus Sound welcomed associate engineer Matt Laforest. Matt, a graduate of Columbia Academy, and drummer extrordinaire brings the element of formal recording arts training and contemporary vibe to Maximus Sound.

“Maximus” is synonymous with excellence, both in sound and in the experience of creating that sound. Young and new artists will find the rates reasonable, while experienced recording artists will find his facility fully equipped, comfortable and refreshingly stress-free.

Maximus Sound provides artists with a fun filled way to capture their musical ideas.  At Maximus Sound the production credits span the music spectrum from hip-hop to jazz, rock, country, alternative to world music.
